Earlier, six members of a family, including three women and three children, one of whom was an infant, went missing from Borobekr in Jiribam following violence in the region. All six hail from the Meitei community and were staying at a relief camp set up at the Borobekra police station after the riots in June. The official said the process of identification is on and photographs have been collected for confirmation. Autopsies are being conducted in Assam due to inadequate conditions at Jiribam. Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh called a meeting with senior ministers on Friday evening to discuss the situation after the discovery.
