Democratic vice presidential candidate Waltz returns to Erie 5 days before the election

The Democratic vice presidential candidate is Minnesota Governor Tim Walz returning to Erie Thursday, five days before voters head to the polls to end a long and contentious presidential race election campaign.

The time, location and other details of Walz’s performance on Thursday have not been released.

First stop in Erie

Walz last appeared in Erie on September 5a few days after his Republican colleague, Ohio Senator Jay D. Vance addressed the crowd of 200 at Team Hardingertransport and storage company, August 28 On Saturday, Vance spoke again in Erie Countyspeaking to 650 people at Penn State Behrend.

Walz addressed campaign volunteers at Harris’ presidential campaign headquarters on West Eighth Street before stopping at Sara’s Restaurant in Presque Isle State Park to share a late lunch with his daughter, Hope. He ended the day with a rally before 2,500 people at the Highmark Amphitheater in Liberty Park on the Bayfront Corridor.

On Tuesday, the former president Bill Clinton will be in Erie to vote for Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris. Details of Clinton’s appearance have also not yet been released by the campaign.
