Man arrested, charged with multiple charges after West Fargo police chase

WEST FARGO, North Dakota (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man has been arrested and faces multiple charges after leading police on an early morning car chase.

Shortly before 1 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, police said they attempted to pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 900 block of Eaglewood Avenue in West Fargo.

WFPD says the driver took off and fled to the 2000 block of Sheyenne Street, where police were eventually able to stop him.

The driver, Austin Michael Mack, 31, of Fargo, was arrested on five felony charges, including fleeing in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and intoxication.

Police say no one was injured during the chase and Mack could face additional charges.
