“The Chase” star apologized for kissing Bradley Walsh’s wife on stage | TV and radio Show business and television

Gary Wilmot has apologized to Bradley Walsh for kissing his wife in front of “20 million” TV viewers. The famous actor also admitted during his recent appearance on The Chase Celebrity Special that Donna Derby was his first on-stage kiss.

Gary, whose real name is Harold Owen Wilmot, initially built a career as a comedian and impressionist before moving into theater and the West End. As well as appearing in a number of pantomimes across the country, the 70-year-old enjoyed a prolific stint with The New Shakespeare Company and went on to appear in everything from Wicked to Fireman Sam.

His latest TV work is the Chase Celebrity special, where he, Daisy Arwen Campbell, Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil Jones and Richard Bacon are tasked with working together to take down the Chaser. During the program, 64-year-old Bradley said that he and Gary had long passed.

“My wife Donna danced with you at the Royal Variety Performance, ‘Luck Be a Lady’ tonight, I think it was,” host Chase said. “Absolutely,” Harry replied. “I don’t know if you know this, but your wife Donna was my first stage kiss.”

A dazed Bradley leaned over the podium to hear more from the Copy Cats favourite. “It was in front of 20 million viewers, but it was a stage kiss,” Gary continued. “It was, so I apologize.”

Bradley said the actor doesn’t need to apologize, adding that Donna just “adores” him. “And I’m hers,” added Gary.

Former Law & Order: British actor Bradley and choreographer Donna first started dating in 1992 after being wooed by friend Brian Conley, 63.

The couple married in 1997 before welcoming their 26-year-old son Barney into the world in 1998. Bradley also has a 42-year-old daughter named Hailey from a previous relationship.

In addition to choreographing at the Miss World pageant, Donna is a former dancer.

She is best known for her appearance in the music video for Robert Palmer’s song Simply Irresistible.

Between 1987 and 1988, she appeared in six episodes of the Kenny Everett TV show.
