Units respond to a two-car crash and fire in Destin, sending one to the hospital

OKALOOSA, FL. Emergency responders responded to the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash in Destin Friday night.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at the intersection of Emerald Coast Pkwy (Hwy 98) and Trista Terrace Ct.

Destin Fire-Rescue reported the accident as a vehicle rollover. One car appears to have caught fire. Several people were taken to Fort Walton Beach EMS as “trauma patients.” One person was taken to Sacred Heart Pensacola.

All westbound lanes are currently closed, OCSO said.
