October 28

9:33 p.m.: A car accident with deer was reported in the town of Montmorency; a protocol was drawn up.

October 30

12:18 a.m.: Deputies responded to a commercial burglary alarm at a business in Albert Township. Deputies left after finding the building locked and secure.

November 1

8:09 a.m.: A car accident with deer was reported in Vienna Township. A protocol has been drawn up.

10:17 a.m.: An Avery Township man was sentenced in court to a year in the Alpena County Jail on OWI and R/O charges.

1:04 p.m.: A deputy assisted an MSP Trooper at a residence in Avery Township with a trespass complaint.

November 2

12:15 a.m.: Deputies came upon a mailbox in the roadway in Avery Township. Deputies managed to find the place of residence from where he arrived, as well as tire tracks from where the car left the roadway. The mail inside the box was taken to MCSO.

12:25 a.m.: MCSO received a complaint about a possible bear at a home in Albert Township. A deputy responded and conducted a search of the residence, but was unable to locate any animals inside.

1:02 a.m.: A deputy responded to a noise complaint in Briley Township. The complaint came in because a male subject was driving recklessly in the neighborhood and revving his truck engine, keeping the complainant awake. The deputy managed to locate the vehicle.

1:54 a.m.: A woman was arrested in Alpena County. She had a confirmed warrant out of Montmorency and was brought before the ACJ.

7:58 a.m.: A car accident involving deer was reported in Rust Township; a protocol was drawn up.

10:00 a.m.: A car accident involving deer was reported in Vienna Township; a protocol was drawn up.

12:45 p.m.: Oscoda County asked MCSO deputies for help locating a man who had been missing for 24 hours. Deputies helped to search for the item. The subject was later located by the Oscoda County DNR and was OK.

4:35 p.m.: An Albert Township resident called to report an ATV driving down the road in front of his home. RP considered it private property.

9:32 p.m.: MCSO deputies responded to a commercial burglary alarm at a business in Gillman Township. The building was secure, with no signs of entry.

November 3

7:53 a.m.: A vehicle accident involving a deer was reported in Briley Township; a protocol was drawn up.

9:46 a.m.: A resident of Vienna Township called and reported that he had video footage from a camera showing trespassers on his property. An officer arrived at the residence to collect the report.

11:02 a.m.: A subject who owns hunting land in Briley Township entered the lobby to report a trespass. Both sides were also discussed, and it was established that this is an easement problem.

11:15 a.m.: A male subject entered the MCSO lobby to report a theft from his property. The subject knew who took his property, the deputy spoke with the notified party and then drove to the residence where the subject reported his property. The item was seized and returned to the owner.

17:09. A deer vehicle accident was reported in Hillman Township, the occupant of the vehicle complained of pain and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. A protocol has been drawn up.

7:17 p.m.: A vehicle accident involving a deer was reported in Avery Township; a protocol was drawn up.
