A gloomy and cool climate is forecast for Thursday

A gloomy and cool climate is forecast for Thursday

It’s finally starting to feel like November here in the Tristate!

A cold front has stalled near the Ohio River, giving us a chance for isolated light showers early in the day. The sky is overcast in the north and northwest. Temperatures start out in the 50s and we’ll warm to 62 this afternoon. The average temperature for early November is 57 degrees, so this is the first day of the week that is relatively normal. As for the chance of rain, our southern regions will see isolated showers before 10am, but after that we should dry out. Cloudiness will also decrease from north to south during the day.

Tonight will be mostly clear and cooler as temperatures drop into the low 40s. A little fog is also possible in the river valley.

The forecast for Friday is excellent! Temperatures will warm to 64 degrees under mostly sunny skies and a light northwest wind.

We are still monitoring the forecast for the weekend as to when exactly the rain will start. Saturday will start out dry and it looks like it should be dry for most of the day. Some weather models show rain in the evening hours, others show overnight hours. Anyway, no rain for most of Saturday and mostly cloudy with a high near 64. Sunday will be a washout as rain moves across the Ohio Valley.
