1. Dee-Dee makes a confession through Joel

Dee-Dee decides that she must do the right thing by telling the police the truth her involvement in Joel’s death. Still convinced she’s guilty, Dee-Dee informs Keith that she hit Joel with a crowbar the night he died.

Dee-Dee explains that she acted in self-defense and Joel was still alive when she left him. This casts doubt on whether Dee-Dee was really the killer, as someone else must have dumped his body in the river.

As Keith considers whether to arrest Dee-Dee, another piece of evidence is uncovered that could send the investigation in a new direction.

2. Lisa claims that she was framed

Lisa updates Carla on the ongoing investigation, revealing that she is now a suspect as her CS spray was found next to the murder weapon. Lisa assumes that someone is setting her up, and the real killer is the most likely.

Having successfully used her detective skills, Lisa retraces her steps and tries to find out who would have the means and motives to steal the spray. Could this lead to the real killer being exposed, or is Lisa just getting ready to cover her own tracks?

3. Joel’s killer is finally revealed

In the special episode, which airs on Friday, November 15, Keith continues to interview his suspects and a series of flashbacks puts viewers in the world of the night Joel died.

These include the view from the bridge near where Joel’s body was found in the river. Who dealt him the last blow?

4. Tim and Sally were in danger

Tim finds himself in the doghouse with Sally as their car has been stolen along with a ring that belonged to Sally’s mother. With the Mason brothers involved, Sally points out that Tim created this mess letting Mason sleep on their couch.

Tim sees Mason with his siblings Matty and Logan and rushes in against them. Matty and Logan smugly laugh at Tim, who quickly senses that Mason is afraid of his family.

Later, Mason calls the Metcalf home again, but Sally forces him inside and calls the police.

5. Mason corrects himself

Later this week, police seize Tim and Sally’s car after an anonymous tip.

Mason apologizes to Tim for causing trouble, but accidentally blurts out that he was the one who secretly told the police where to find the missing car.

6. Gemma tries to forgive Billy

David Platt, Bernie Winter, Gemma Winterbrown, Coronation Street

There is a mixed reaction to Billy after his collapse during Paul’s show and the near-death experience that followed.

Bernie suggests that the Winter-Browns need to take Billy into the family because that’s what Paul would want. After the revelation, Gemma is left furious that Billy made a move against Todd after the funeral, so she rushes.

7. David visits Clayton

David confides in Nick after receiving a message from the prison about Shawna’s incarcerated son Clayton, who sent a visitation order. Since David kept Shawna in the dark about this, Nick suggests that honesty is the best policy in the long run.

David ignores this and secretly goes to see Clayton. How will the visit go?

8. Shauna receives sad news

Shauna Platt, David Platt, Coronation Street

Later that week, David is alarmed to find Shauna in an emotional state at home.

Shawna explains that the police came to tell her that Clayton is in the hospital after attempting to take his own life.

9. Lauren shares her fears with Max

Lauren Bolton, Max Turner, Coronation Street

ITV

Lauren spends time hugging Frankie in the hospital, and Max is also there for moral support.

When Lauren shares her fear that social services will one day take Frankie away, Max assures her that everything will be fine if they stick together.

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and airs on ITVX.
