CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – A Chatham County jury has convicted a man of murder in 2022.

On November 1, Kenneth Mace was found guilty of three counts of first degree murder, one count of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated battery and two counts of possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

Mace was found guilty after the fatal stabbing James Walter Miller May 17, 2022.

Records show the two had an argument earlier that day. The dispute was initially resolved when Mace left the residence. But Mace is said to have returned a short time later to find Miller asleep in his bed before attacking him with a knife and killing him.

Mays was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
