A woman cut off the genitals of a “drunk” man after an argument in Delhi

New Delhi:

A man alleged that his wife cut off his private parts after a fight between them in north Delhi, police said on Saturday.

The man was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, where his condition is out of danger, police said.

According to a police officer, on the night of October 31 to November 1, the Roop Nagar police station received information about the incident.

The man’s statement was recorded on Saturday when he told the police that he was a native of Bihar and had moved to Delhi with his wife a few months ago. Police said he works as a helper at Paying Guest Hotel in Shakti Nagar.

According to them, on the night of the incident, he was drunk and quarreled with his wife.

“After an argument, his wife left the house and he fell asleep. Later, the woman entered the house and attacked him with a sharp and pointed object on the intimate part of the body and ran away,” the officer said.

According to him, this is the third marriage for both of them.

The victim was taken to Bara Hindu Rao Hospital in an injured condition and was later shifted to Safdarjung Hospital for further treatment, police said.

The suspect is currently on the run, measures are being taken to apprehend her, the police said.
