Jersey Shore man charged with intimidation after making obscene phone call to family members he allegedly abused | News, Sports, Work

Troy Wayne Johnson, of 322 Front St., who already faces charges of child welfare, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, is accused of attempting to intimidate the alleged victims of those charges.

The incident began shortly before 6:40 a.m. on Sept. 10 when Lycoming Regional Police responded to Johnson’s residence for a domestic disturbance.

The visibly upset alleged victim told police she was fair “boxing pear” for her 38-year-old husband, the affidavit said.

Police noticed cuts and marks on her body, as well as a black and blue left eye, court documents said.

Authorities allege that during one of the alleged attacks, Johnson pushed her onto a step next to their infant daughter, causing a rug burn on the girl’s knee.

“You caused all of this because of your lies and actions.” Johnson texted the alleged victim after she and their two children were dropped off at a friend’s house, police said.

In lieu of $10,000 bond for the incident, Johnson was sent to the Lycoming County Jail and is prohibited from contacting the victims. Three days later, however, Johnson called the alleged victim on a recording from the jail, telling her to contact the bail bondsman, saying he wanted out of jail that night, according to court documents.

Shortly during the conversation, the juvenile girl picked up the phone and greeted Johnson.

“I don’t want to talk to you now” Johnson said to the girl before naming her and her mother “(Laka) narcs,” said in the affidavit.

“(Laka) you too. (Expletive) all of you (expletive),” Johnson responded as he was greeted by his 8-year-old son before using a racial slur.

Johnson then repeated his order to the alleged victim to get him out of jail that night, telling her the house was in his name.

“I hope you and those (expletive) kids burn in the (expletive) bonfire tonight,” Johnson was heard telling the alleged victim, the affidavit said.

“If I’m not out of here by tomorrow morning, I’m going to make every aspect of your life hell” Johnson told the alleged victim before making the statement “You haven’t seen this before, I promise you” the police say.

During the conversation, he continued to speak about the alleged victim and their children in vulgar, abusive language.

“(Laka), they didn’t. They called the police.” Johnson told the alleged victim after she told him about the effect his actions had on the children, stressing that they had done nothing to him, according to court documents.

Then he hurled a sexual insult at the boy, and the conversation ended there.

He was arraigned by District Judge Denise Dieter on two counts of intimidation, retaliation or obstruction in child abuse cases and retaliation against a witness, victim or party, and remains incarcerated in the Lycoming County Jail in lieu of $45,000 bond for that case
