Suspect bites police after chase on Park Avenue

Rochester, New York. A suspect is in custody Friday after Rochester police say he bit two officers.

Officers say they located a recently stolen vehicle on Park Avenue around 5:55 p.m., leading to a pursuit of the suspect.

They say when the police arrested the 29-year-old suspect, he attacked and bit two of them.

In addition to the carjacking charges, the suspect reportedly faces charges of assaulting police officers and has several outstanding warrants.

As a result of the incident, one of the officers was treated.
