Edmonton police are investigating a shooting outside Dr. Donald Massey School

Police are seeking information after a Halloween shooting left a bullet lodged in the exterior wall of an Edmonton school.

Officers were called to 162nd Avenue and 55th Street at 9:53 p.m

Investigators at the scene found a bullet in the wall of Dr. Donald Massey’s school.

Police believe the shooting happened at an intersection near the northwest part of the school parking lot.

No casualties have been reported.

“Currently, we continue to find out whether the shooting was accidental or purposeful,” Acting Mark Goudreau said this in Friday’s news release. “However, when a shooting happens in a public place, especially near a school, it’s a reminder of the danger that bystanders face.”
