DPS officers detained the alleged driver after a chase

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – Police are now identifying the suspect connecting to the chase what happened last night

Jaime Gonzalez, 25, is the driver who was arrested on Wednesday, October 30, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The DPS shared that the chase began on Shakhtnaya street. and ended on San Bernardo after two DPS units blocked the vehicle.

Eleven migrants, including two children, were found in the car, and Gonzalez is now facing multiple charges in connection with the incident.
