Police are seeking the public’s help in a firearms investigation in the Garden River area

Police are investigating a firearms incident that occurred in Garden River First Nation on October 21st.

The Anishinaabek Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police are jointly investigating the incident, which occurred at approximately 9:20 a.m. on Highway 17B near Syrette Lake Road.

Police are asking anyone with dashcam or other footage that may have been taken during or near the incident to contact them.
