St. Cloud man charged with accessory to 2023 murder arrested

St. CLOUD (WJON News) — Authorities have arrested a man wanted in connection with a 2023 St. Cloud murder. Twenty-nine years old Antoine Williams was booked into the Stearns County Jail on Wednesday.

Williams is accused of providing a stolen weapon to a 27-year-old boy Deionte Parker in the execution of the 34-year-old Antonio Harris Jr. last October

Williams is accused of stealing a .40-caliber handgun from a Cold Spring home in December 2022 during an after-party. According to the criminal complaint, that gun was used to kill Harris in 2023. The shooting is believed to be revenge for a stabbing incident in July 2023.

The St. Cloud Police Department reports that officers responded to reports of multiple shots fired in the 700 block of 6th Avenue South shortly before 4:00 a.m. on October 22, 2023. When police arrived, they found several people inside the home.

Authorities say a disagreement during a gathering at the home led to the shooting.

The victim, Antonio Harris Jr. of Buffalo, died at the scene. Two other victims, a 26-year-old man and a 52-year-old man, were treated and released from St. Cloud Hospital. Witnesses say Harris was trying to negotiate a truce between the two sides when he was shot.

A few days later, the police were called to a neighbor. The caller told police there was a gun on the roof of her home. Police recovered the gun, and court records say it matched the gun stolen in Cold Spring and matched shell casings found at the scene of the shooting.

Parker was eventually arrested and charged with 2nd degree murderbeing a felon in possession of a handgun and 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon.

SEE: How Halloween has changed over the past 100 years

Compositor compiled a list of ways Halloween has changed over the past 100 years, from how we celebrate it on the day to the costumes we wear as treats. We’ve included the events, inventions, and trends that have changed the way Halloween is celebrated over time. Many of these traditions have been put out of action over time. But just like the fake blood on the carpet, every part of Halloween’s history has left an impression that we can see today.
