‘Stop, have a heart, leave us alone’: Kareena Kapoor slams dad for spying on toys bought for Jeh, Taimur

The unfortunate incident took place on Thursday, January 16, 2025 when Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his house in Bandra during an attempted robbery. The incident took place after midnight when the intruder entered the bathroom where Saif and Kareena Kapoor’s younger son Jeh resided.

After the unfortunate incident, paparazzi have been stationed at the entrance of Lilavati Hospital and Saif’s Bandra residence, constantly posting updates on Kareena and Saif’s movements on social media.

On Thursday, Kareena took to social media to request privacy, saying the family was in shock and needed time to cope. However, this did not prevent the paparazzi from reporting on their activities.

Karina criticizes the media for what they write about her residence

On Monday evening, a paparazzi Instagram account posted a video showing toy cars being brought to Saif and Kareena’s residence. The caption of the clip read, “New toys have arrived at Taimur and Jeh’s residence,” while the thumbnail showed Saif with Taimur and Jeh.

This video upset Kareena, which made her criticize the post. She reposted the now-deleted video on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Stop this now. Have a heart. Leave us alone. For God’s sake,” followed by a smiley with two folded hands. Shortly after Karina’s post, the video was deleted.

Timeline of Saif’s attack

Jeh and Taimur slept with two babysitters next to them. One of the babysitters noticed unusual movement in the room from the bathroom and at first assumed it was Karina. However, when the intruder approached Jae’s bed, the babysitter immediately picked Jae up and started arguing with the intruder. During the commotion, she ordered Jeho to leave, causing him to cry. Hearing the commotion, Saif rushed to the scene to protect Jeh and the nanny. During the fight, the assailant stabbed Saif six times, as a result of which he received serious injuries.

Jeh and Taimur’s nanny bravely confronted the robber and injured her wrist in self-defense. Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his elder son Ibrahim along with Taimur.

After the attack, Saif underwent surgery and is currently in the intensive care unit, recovering. Family members and celebrities regularly visit Lilavati Hospital to check on his condition.

After Saif’s hospitalization, Kareena Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and other family members visited him regularly. The actor was also visited by B-town celebrities including Rani Mukerji and Sanjay Dutt.

On Sunday, Saif’s kids Taimur and Jeh were spotted visiting him at the hospital along with other family members like his sister Soha Ali Khan and her husband Kunal Kemmu.

According to the Times of India, Saif Ali Khan will be discharged on Monday. However, Dr. Nitin Dange said that though Saif is recovering well, he will be under observation for one more day before being discharged.

The perpetrator was detained

Mumbai Police arrested the accused, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, on Sunday after tracking him near Thane through a digital payment transaction he had made that morning to buy parathas. Authorities discovered the suspect planned to flee to Bangladesh, but was apprehended before he could escape. He is the driverwas taken into police custody.
