Jamaat leader murder: Complaint filed against Hasina and 40 others in ICT

A complaint was filed at the International Criminal Tribunal today against 41 persons, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in connection with the 2013 killing of Fayez Ahmed, former Nayeb-e-Ameer of Lakshmipur District Jamaat.

Hasanul Banna, the victim’s son, filed a complaint with the tribunal’s chief prosecutor’s office.

The complaint accused Hasina, former interior minister Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir, adviser to the prime minister on defense Tariq Ahmed Siddique, former Rab additional director general Ziaul Ahsan, former Rab-11 director general Tarek Syed Mohammad and 36 others in their involvement in murders

In a conversation with journalists, Hasanul talked about the incident.

“On the night of December 13, 2013, around 12:30 am, Fayez Ahmed was taken to the roof of his house, attacked, shot and thrown, resulting in his death,” he said.
