Teen with machete arrested for allegedly intimidating Harris supporters at polling station in Florida

In Florida, a teenager was arrested for allegedly intimidating voters in the northeastern coastal city of Neptune Beach.

Caleb James Williams, 18, was charged with aggravated assault and improperly carrying a firearm in the incident on Tuesday, according to police.

Duval County Democratic Party Chairman Daniel Henry said Williams was accompanied by other teenagers who waved flags emblazoned with the name of former President Donald Trump.

The other teenagers are not facing any charges at this time. Henry said the women who were bullied by the teenagers were supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

Williams allegedly “swinged the machete in an aggressive, threatening position overhead” at the two women, aged 71 and 54. according to ABC News.

During the press conference, the police said that Williams came to the polling place to confront “the other side”.

“The group was there for no other reason than to cause a disturbance,” Neptune Beach Police Chief Michael J. Key said.
