Authorities have released the identity of a 54-year-old woman who died two weeks ago in a traffic accident on a country road near Henshaw Lake.

Robin Blankinship of Lakeside lost control of the 2014 Toyota Sienna she was driving on state Route 76 in the Morettis Junction area shortly before 5 p.m. on Oct. 16, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office and the California Highway Patrol.

The eastbound vehicle left the roadway about a half-mile east of Mesa Grande Road, struck several trees and overturned, CHP Officer Jared Grieshaber said.

Blankinship died at the scene of the accident.
