West Memphis man pleads guilty to stealing 0 from ATF agent

Two defendants scheduled to plead guilty to stealing $600 from an undercover officer in January 2023 arrived in federal court in Little Rock as scheduled, but only one left after successfully pleading guilty and the other was instructed to return later.

Tyland Mitchell, 23, and Micarius Oliver, 25, both of West Memphis, were charged in January 2023 with a third man, Demaryius Bonds, 22, also of West Memphis, for stealing $600 from an undercover officer. under the pretext of selling him an AR-15 rifle.

On March 7, 2023, Oliver and Bonds were indicted on federal charges of assault, resisting or obstructing an officer of the United States and aiding and abetting; brandishing a firearm in connection with a violent crime and accessory; and assault to steal money from the United States.
