6 Coronation Street spoilers for next week: Dee Dee Bailey makes shocking murder confession

Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) is upset about the new bad luck she is getting used to life with a permanent stomaand her uncle David (Jack P. Shepherd) is stunned by the unexpected news.

Finally, Tim Metcalf (Joe Duttin) comes to the rescue of troubled teenager Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan).

1. DC Kit Green vs. DS Lisa Swain

Daisy Midgley (Charlotte Jordan) is helping Keith pack when he notices an empty whiskey bottle.

Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) then tells her that Keith has been demanding information from him about her likes and dislikes, proving that he can’t be trusted.

Daisy confronts Keith, who lies that he got drunk after Paul’s funeral. But Keith isn’t the only one in the spotlight as Lisa is called to the police station.

Keith tells Lisa that they found an undelivered message on her phone that suggests she wants Joel Deering (Calum Lill) dead.

Keith demands to know where Lisa was the night Joel was killed. What will Lisa say?

2. Dee-Dee Bailey confesses to the murder of Ed’s dad

Lauren Bolton (Kate Fitton) thanks Roy Cropper (David Neilson) for offering to buy her a pram for baby Frankie, but when she asks Dee Dee to help her choose one, Dee Dee doesn’t refuse.

During the week, Dee-Dee breaks down and confesses to Ed that she killed Joel after she found out he was going to be in the running!

When Dee-Dee announces that she will turn herself in to the police, Ed is horrified and tries to talk her out of it.

Will Dee-Dee open up – and is she really the one to blame? We highly doubt Coronation Street will reveal the truth in official spoilers other than as a surprise episode twist…

3. Will Billy Mayhew die after passing out drunk in the cold?

Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) returns home to find a stranger in the apartment, and Billy admits that he invited Wayne back after meeting him at a junkie group.

The next day, a dejected Billy tells Summer that he doesn’t think he can face the day’s event, the launch of Paul’s ashes into space, organized by his mother Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove).

Billy drinks whiskey before going to the Rovers, but as everyone watches Paul’s ashes being disposed of, the screen suddenly goes black and Billy unplugs the laptop.

A drunk and emotional Billy calls it all a farce and admits that he made a pass at Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pearce) after Paul’s funeral.

Drinking outside the factory in the bitter cold, Billy listens to snippets of Paul’s voice until his phone battery dies before closing his eyes drunkenly.

When he moves away, we are left to fear the worst. Bernie sets out to find his son-in-law and finds him frozen to the bone. But is she too late?

4. Bethany Platt has a new stoma

Bethany is horrified. ITV

Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard) accompanies Bethany to a hospital appointment, and when he discovers that Bethany rarely leaves the apartment, the nurse recommends a support group for those with ostomies.

Bethany later puts on a brave face and agrees to go to the pub with Daniel for Paul’s space launch. But Bethany was horrified to discover that her tired bag was leaking and hurried away.

Bethany and Daniel later kiss and make up, but she admits that she isn’t ready for anything else as she is upset that he saw her ostomy bag.

But the aim, of course, is for Bethany to accept herself for who she is, and the ITV soap is working with leading charity Colostomy UK on the storyline.

5. David Platt is shocked by a message from prison

David offers Lauren and Frankie a place to live once they graduate from foster care, but David is soon distracted by a shocking email from the Weatherfield Prison Service.

He reaches for the letter in his back pocket, but covers it when his wife Shauna Platt (Julia Goulding) enters.

David moans about his mother Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) plans to sell Carly Connor’s (Alison King) house, but secretly we see him open Shauna’s laptop while she’s in bed and delete all the emails from Weatherfield Prison. Will Shauna find out?

6. Tim Metcalf offers help to troubled Mason Radcliffe

Tim catches Mason. ITV

Tim and wife Sally Metcalf (Sally Dynevor) find spilled food in the kitchen and are sure they have a mouse, and Tim later informs her that he thinks the mice are in their shed.

Sally and Tim find the backpack and realize that someone lived in the shed, while Mason watches from across the street as Tim carries the backpack to Street Cars.

Caught red-handed trying to grab his bag, Mason is forced to explain how he became homeless. After not finding Mason a bed for the night, Tim lets Mason into his house and tells him he can sleep on the couch, but Sally shouldn’t know about it.

Will Sally discover an unwanted guest?
