HC orders examination of astrologer Venu over Naga and Sobhita’s divorce remarks

Hyderabad: Renowned astrologer Venu Swamy’s remarks on Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipal’s divorce attracted considerable media attention, prompting the Telugu Digital Film Journalists Association to file a complaint with the Women’s Commission.

Swamy initially challenged this complaint in court and obtained a stay of all action by the Women’s Commission. However, the Telangana High Court recently lifted the stay, directing the Commission to continue its investigation.

The court ruled that the Women’s Commission has the authority to take necessary action on the complaint. Following the High Court ruling, Vena Swamy was summoned for questioning before the Women’s Commission.

The court asked the Commission to complete the investigation and submit the report within a week. Meanwhile, Swami is also dealing with the recent loss of his mother, who passed away due to age-related health issues.
