Four months after Ekta Gupta’s death, CCTV footage of where she was last seen was found. The footage shows Ekta Gupta talking to her alleged killer, gym trainer Vimal Soni.

In the video, the victim can be seen entering in his sports clothes, holding a sports bag and holding a mobile phone. It seems that she got into a fight with her trainer, after which he killed her. The footage revealed that Ekta Gupta was in the gym before the murder.

She was the wife of a businessman in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Gym trainer Vimal Soni, who was arrested for allegedly murdering her, has revealed the exact spot where he buried her body. According to the police, the accused trainer buried the body near the District Magistrate’s house.

DCP East, Shrawan Kumar Singh said, “The incident took place on June 24. The victim used to go to the accused’s gym to work out… The victim was particularly unhappy about something and started a heated argument with the accused, after which the latter killed her and buried her here… He dug a hole here and buried her body… He tried to file a case in error, but when we questioned him severely, he revealed the truth.”

Police launched a search for the gym trainer, but had information about Sonya’s whereabouts for the past four months. But after intense searches, he was found in the city.

When the husband, Rahul Gupta, approached the police, he suspected that Soni might have kidnapped Ekta by giving her intoxicants mixed with a protein shake. In June, the police checked CCTV cameras at railway stations, bus stops and hotels.

It is said that Ekta and Soni were on good terms, but when the woman came to know about Vimal’s engagement, she was upset. The two were allegedly arguing in his car when he hit her in the neck, killing her.
