Gautam Singhania, chairman and managing director of Raymond Ltd, did not hold back on social media as he blasted Lamborghini’s top executives in India and Asia for what he called “arrogance” and poor customer service.

The luxury car enthusiast expressed his frustration in a post on X, saying that neither Lamborghini’s India head Sharad Agarwal nor Asia regional head Francesco Scardaone bothered to respond to his complaints following the car breakdown incident.

Singhania’s complaints stem from an unpleasant experience with the recently launched Lamborghini Revuelto. Singhania shared that the luxury car faced a complete electrical failure when he was testing it at Mumbai’s trans-harbour, leaving it stranded.

He said: “I am shocked by the arrogance of India head Sharad Agarwal and Asia head Francesco Scardaoni. No one reached out to even check what the customer’s problems were.”

Earlier on October 3, Singhania had raised concerns on social media about the issue. To illustrate the point, he even posted a photo of the Revuelto being towed off a bridge.

But what bothered him the most was the silence of Lamborghini’s Indian and Asian teams, who, he said, didn’t even try to get in touch.

Lamborghini India is yet to react on the matter.
