3 arrested in Wayne Co. burglary investigation

WAYNE CO., Ill. (WFIE) – Wayne County deputies say a burglary investigation has ended with three people in jail.

Deputies say they found the two suspects, Mitchell Lees and Gage Roth, last month in a vehicle.

Authorities say they found stolen power tools, ammunition, methamphetamine and digital scales inside.

Deputies say they found two stolen guns and a stolen laptop when they searched Lea’s home.

Authorities say the search led them to another home and a barn owned by David Hudgens Jr.

Inside, according to deputies, they found a large number of stolen items.

All three are facing multiple charges.
