NAACP Strongly Criticizes Dr. Phil’s ‘Hard Work’ Statement at Trump’s MSG Rally

The NAACP shouted Phil McGraw, aka the TV Dr. Philafter he declared that America was “built on hard work.” Donald TrumpCampaign rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

McGraw, who later endorsed Trump at the rally interviewingits under the guise of asking “tough questions” earlier this year, said it was time to ditch the “cancellation culture” and scare tactics, before tying it to the launch of his company Merit Street Media in April.

“We didn’t choose the name for this by accident… this country was built on hard work, value added and talent. Not on equality, not on DEI, this country was built on hard work,” the TV host told the MSG crowd.

The civil rights organization did not have McGraw’s account of America’s origins in its post on X.

“This country was built entirely on hard work Dr. Phil… on the backs of blacks, browns and immigrants from all over the WORLD! Many of which were forced to do it! SLAVERY”, writes the NAACP.

“Let us know when you’re ready to tell the WHOLE story.”

Keith Boykinformer Clinton White House aide, McGraw responded, noting that America was built by “unpaid black people who were exploited by rich white guys who took the credit.”

“Meanwhile, Trump inherited $400 million from his KKK dad, and Dr. Phil became famous because a black woman gave him a platform,” Boykin said of McGraw’s rise to fame through television appearances on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”
