Hezron Achola Olumkh: CCTV footage of missing hotel owner’s last minutes after he quit his job surfaced

  • Hezron Achola Olum went missing on October 17 at 11pm after leaving his workplace at Social Place in Lavington.
  • Although Shell had a van waiting to take people home, the man, who was in his 30s, refused to get into it and decided to walk, which he did on some days
  • CCTV footage shared with TUKO.co.ke showed him working fine until the end of his shift, logging off and then boldly walking away, and that’s where the trail hit.

Recordings from video surveillance cameras appeared on it as a missing hotelieridentified as Hezron Achola Olum, spent the last few minutes at work before going home.

In the footage, Achola can be seen in his home clothes after changing his uniform. A man in his thirties, wearing a brown t-shirt, cargo pants, shoes, a light blue sweater and carrying a black shoulder bag.

In one of the clips, he was also seen wearing dark glasses.

“The footage shows him signing off to go home in accordance with the procedure at the Social Place Hotel in Lavington, where he works,” said his brother Collins. TUKO.co.ke.

Why did Achola refuse to get into the van?

After logging out, Achola is seen walking boldly down Lavington Road; He doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything as he drives the road every day.

According to his brother, he refused to use the company van to drive home; sometimes he preferred to walk home rather than be driven in a van.

Collins shared that Achola left work on October 17 at 11:00 p.m., and when he did not show up for work for two days, they decided to contact family.

“Right now we plan to work with the investigators starting tomorrow as there are no developments,” said a distraught Collins.

A man who went missing 34 years ago has returned

Another story revealed that Joseph Andima left his wife and four children in Kisii in the 90s, never to return.

He created a new family in Baringo and had five more children with his new wife. He also talked about his other children.

When he returned after 34 years, his wife Esther thanked God and welcomed him back with all her heart.
