Two people died as a result of a motorcycle accident

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (WBRC) – Two people died after a motorcycle accident in Helena on Sunday.

A motorcycle and a vehicle collided on Highway 95 in the area of Riva Ridge Road, Helena police said.

Authorities say two motorcycle drivers died at the scene of the accident.

After being closed for an extended period of time, authorities say Highway 95 is back open.

The Shelby County Highway Homicide Unit is investigating the crash.
