Scary footage of Barron’s collision with Patrick Line has been released

As we’ve reported over the past few hours, we had quite the scare during Montreal Canadiens practice.

Justin Barron was reported to have made direct contact with Patrick Laine’s knee.

It was indeed a contact that could have serious consequences.

The RDS network shared footage of the incident.

We can understand why all the players and fans held their breath and described it as a disturbing scene.

It was indeed knee-to-knee contact, and it could have ended very badly for the Montreal Canadiens forward.

One has to wonder how Barron ended up in this situation, as it was a pretty dangerous move, but it must also be said that it seemed to happen very quickly.

Laine, 26, is a 6-foot-4, 208-pound forward. Winnipeg Jets, second overall pick in 2016, has 388 points (204 goals) in 480 career NHL games.

He is expected to play his first game of the season very soon, according to recent reports.

After that incident with Barron, Lane was temporarily benched, but then returned to the ice and appeared to be fine.
