Sean Diddy sued for Rs 84 crore: Fashion designer says he lifted her from 17th floor balcony in new lawsuit

In a shocking new legal development, music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a $10 million (Rs. 84,56,45,223) lawsuit filed by Los Angeles-based fashion designer Briana “Bana” Bongolan. The lawsuit, which was filed on November 27, 2024 in Los Angeles Superior Court, contains serious allegations against Combs, including sexual assault, emotional distress and false imprisonment. The claims stem from a violent encounter in September 2016, when Bongolan claims Combs dangled her from a 17th-floor balcony in a horrific act of aggression.

Incident and alleged assault

According to the lawsuit, Bongolan was living with his girlfriend in an apartment owned by Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, at the time of the alleged attack. On September 26, 2016, Bongolan alleges that Combs violently broke into the apartment and began threatening her. Court documents state that Combs physically overpowered Bongolan, lifting her over a balcony while yelling at her in an intense and threatening manner. “Do you know what you’ve done?” he allegedly shouted, holding her above the 17th floor. Things escalated when Combs slammed her into patio furniture after being interrupted by Ventura.

The lawsuit also details the emotional trauma Bongolan suffered after the alleged assault. Her attorney, James R. Nicraftar, stressed that the attack was a direct manifestation of previous threats by Combs, including claims that he was a “devil mother” and could kill her. The lawsuit alleges that Combs’ actions left Bongolan deeply scarred for her life and caused lasting psychological harm. Bongolan is seeking $10 million in damages for the emotional distress she claims.

Diddy’s history of violence and intimidation

The lawsuit paints a disturbing picture of Combs’ behavior over the years. Bongolan claims she witnessed several incidents of violence between Combs and his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, prior to the September 2016 attack. Those incidents allegedly involved Combs becoming angry and violent, including an episode in which he allegedly threw a kitchen knife at Ventura. Bongolan’s complaint also alleges that Combs intimidated and threatened her, which eventually led to the terrifying encounter on the balcony.

Combs is currently being held at the Brooklyn Detention Center awaiting trial on multiple charges. This latest lawsuit adds to his troubles with the law, as Combs has been accused of various forms of abuse, including sex trafficking. His bail requests have been repeatedly denied, raising concerns about his ability to influence witnesses. A federal judge recently ruled that Combs poses a serious risk of witness tampering, citing his previous attempts to suppress communications during the trial.

In response to the lawsuit, Combs’ legal team strongly denied the allegations. His spokesman said: “Anyone has the right to bring a claim, regardless of what evidence they may or may not have.” However, Bongolan’s legal representatives claim that her claims are well-founded and deserve compensation.

What’s next for Diddy?

As Combs prepares for his day in court, an upcoming trial scheduled for May 2025 is likely to shed more light on the serious allegations surrounding his conduct. The case is one of several legal battles facing the tycoon as prosecutors accuse him of organizing criminal activities involving the trafficking and abuse of women. Despite these allegations, Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges, arguing that the allegations are baseless.
