Guler had a brief altercation after the game at Anfield.

Real Madrid fans were furious after unidentified footage emerged of an altercation between Arda Guler and a member of Liverpool’s medical team following the Reds’ 2-0 defeat.

Los Blancos lost their third match out of five Champions League group stage matches at Anfield on Wednesday thanks to goals from Alexis McAllister and Cody Gakpo.

But two days after the game ended at Anfield, unidentified footage emerged of a brief but strange altercation involving midfielder Guler, who came on and played the full 90 minutes.

The incident happened during LiverpoolThe medical team treated Ibrahim Konate, who suffered a knee injury after Endrik accidentally fell on him in the dying seconds of the match.

In the footage, Guler can be seen trying to take a bottle of water from the Liverpool physiotherapist’s bag, who then quickly pulls the bag away and stares intently in the midfielder’s direction.

Guler looks confused at first before raising both hands, but there is no danger of a further altercation.

After the physio returned to treat Konate, the Turkey star could be seen taking a bottle of water from another bag.

Guler was last week linked with a surprise loan move from the Bernabeu in January Arsenal are considered possible contenders.

But the 20-year-old now looks set for an extended start in the starting line-up after suffering injuries Vinicius the Younger and Rodrigo.

And Fabrizio Romano claims that Real Madrid haveno interestallowing Guler to leave the club on a temporary basis during the upcoming transfer window.
