Neighbors spoilers: Paul works overtime to protect Teresa’s secret

After a gas leak caused by a Teresa is drunk in Eirini Rising, which landed Gino in the emergency room to fight for his life, Paul helps her cover up her role in it.

This week in NeighborhoodPaul (Stefan Dennis) returns to the parking lot where Teresa (Rebeka Elmaloglou) backed into the gas tank, leading to the rebellion of Airini Rising. He wants to make sure that no parts of her damaged tail light can link her to the incident.

“It’s not something Teresa wanted anyone to be passionate about,” says Rebecca, 50. TV WEEK. “She feels a lot of guilt about the situation. Now that Paul is involved, she only feels worse.”

When Paul returns home to reassure her that her car has been fixed and taken care of, Teresa tells him that Vera (Sally-Anne Upton) came across someone throwing empty wine bottles in the bin and is overcome with guilt and paranoia. .

“Teresa feels terrible about the relapse,” says Rebekah. “She is very ashamed that she fell off the wagon. She’s a woman who’s always in control, so losing that is devastating for her.”

Paul convinces her to stop drinking, but then feels guilty when he realizes that Teresa’s relapse coincides with when he stopped taking her phone calls. The couple tries to push their romantic connection aside while Teresa is dealing with a recent divorce Horrible (Ryan Moloney).

Will Paul go too far to cover for his ex-wife?

But when Teresa remembers Harold (Ian Smith) in hospital after the accident, she turns to the bottle to cope. After drunkenly calling out to Paul for much-needed support, she seizes the moment to make her move.

“On some level, Teresa always wanted to be with Paul,” Teresa explains. “The drunken state obviously made it difficult for her.”
