Ex Carl Woods claims Katie Price ‘broke both legs after sexting football player’.

Katie, 46, and ex-car salesman Carl Woods, 35, began dating in 2020, and a few months later traveled to Turkey together in search of matching veneers.

On the way out, Katie broke both of her legs – at first attributing the injury to an accident that happened while she “pretended to be a horse”.

After falling 25ft, the mum-of-five said she was told she would “never walk again” as doctors described her injuries as some of the worst they had ever seen.

After extensive surgery, Katie made a full recovery. However, Karl has now claimed the accident happened after he caught her on a tip from a ‘very famous footballer who plays for England’.

And when a reportedly drunk Katie ran into the hotel car park during the ensuing downpour, Carl claims she broke both her legs.

“We’ve only been together for six weeks but it was her proposal, things are moving really fast with Katie,” Carl said of their decision to go to Turkey together.

In an interview with Sun on SundayCarl claimed she was drunk when he saw her talking to the famous footballer – “going wild” when he questioned her.

“She ran out of the room and down the fire escape stairs, through the front desk and straight into the hotel parking lot,” he told the tabloid.

“She didn’t want to do it, but she ran like a madwoman and flew off the edge and ran through the bush and the ground disappeared beneath her.”

Speaking about her injury in 2020, Katie said: “I ran and jumped over the wall because it was a short cut and I didn’t really appreciate the height.

“I just fell funny on my ankles, broke the hair on my heels and so on.

“The hospital here wanted to operate, wanted to put pins and other things. Since I’m far away, I’d better wait until I get home,” she said at the time on her YouTube channel.

“This is the most painful thing. Like when I tried to put the cast on, I screamed in pain. They said I wouldn’t be able to walk for three to six months.”

Katie’s relationship with Karl has been rocky, to say the least, after an on-off period between 2020 and 2022.

After misleading fans by unfollowing each other on social media (and Katy deleting him from her Instagram feed), the couple surprised everyone by getting engaged in 2021 before calling off their engagement the following year.

They have appeared together at events in the period since their apparent split, leading some to wonder if they have managed to patch up their differences.

However, in February 2024, Katie and Karl had an Instagram fight – with Karl shared a brutal story about four-wheel drives crashing into trees which seemed to be aimed at Katie.

“Daffodils say this tree is guilty!!!!!” – he joked, sharing a photo of a car that crashed into a tree.

This refers to Katie’s car accident in 2021 – an incident she has since described as her “rock bottom moment”.

The former Love Island star recently took aim at Katie’s ‘obsession’ with plastic surgery, revealing how he thinks it might end up killing her.

“They say that in life you can drink so much anesthesia that it does not become a problem. As with everything in her life, Kate likes to push the boundaries. I feel that she will never be happy,” he said good! Magazine.

He continued, “Unfortunately, this may be the last time she doesn’t wake up. Unfortunately, I 100 percent believe this can happen. But Kate never told me that I was afraid of it, she would brush off all these conversations.’

This comes after she jetted off again to Turkey this summer, where she reportedly spent £10,000 on a facelift – her sixth to date.

Katie hit the headlines after she was arrested when she returned – she skipped a court hearing to discuss her second bankruptcy to make the appointment.

After moving on from Karl, Katie is currently dating Married At First Sight star JJ Slater.
