The Rabal police opened a criminal case against four people who are hiding.

The workers, identified as Mohammad Parvez Imtiyaz Shaikh (29), Khushnoor Alam Mohammad (30), Mohammad Sajjad Abdul Ghaffar (36), were hired by complainant Bhushan Patil (37), the owner of the firm, and given accommodation in Ghansoli.

On November 27, Patil received a call from one Ashraf Sheikh, who accused him of poaching his workers, causing loss to his business. “After the call, the accused barged into the premises of the workers, beat them with leather belts, forcibly took them away and threw them in the Arei colony,” the complainant said. The injured workers were later taken to Jijamata Hospital in Airola for treatment.

Based on Patil’s complaint, the Rabale police registered a case under sections 333 (trespass), 137(2) (kidnapping), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 351(2) (criminal intimidation) and 3(5). ) (common intention) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against four persons including Ashraf Sheikh, Wasim Fazal and Santosh Survyanshi. The fourth accused has not yet been identified.

“This is a matter of business competition. Soon, all four involved will be arrested,” the investigator said.
