Chicago crime: 39-year-old man found shot to death in Burnside home on 98th Ave., police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police said a man was found shot to death on the city’s South Side.

A 39-year-old man was found dead Sunday at a home in the 800 block of E. 89th Place in the Burnside neighborhood.

Chicago police said the man was found around 6:27 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

He died at the scene.

GUNP investigators are investigating the murder.

No one is in custody.
