Social media videos allowed us to identify where a truck drove into people at a bus stop in central Israel and tell us more about the implications and response.

It happened on the Sderot Aharon Yeshiv road, on the border of the Glilot and Ramat Hasharon neighborhoods north of Tel Aviv.

In the video, taken in an open space across the street, we see armed men in uniform surrounding the open driver’s door of a truck next to a green bus.

We can make out the location from this location, the location of the evergreen trees and palm trees, the corrugated iron fences and roofs behind the bus stop, as well as the identifying Israeli license plates, ambulances and police uniforms.

Heading north on the road, footage from the handheld device and the dash cam show the same scene. We see people in Israeli army uniforms, as well as trees, ambulances, a truck and a bus.

Closer, we see at least six people pinned to the pavement under the truck. Most look middle-aged and dressed in civilian clothes. Most are talking or moving, but at least one seems limp and distracted by the people at the scene.
