Telangana: KTR’s relatives implicated in rave party allegations

A huge political storm was created in Telangana after the Cyberabad police raided a party at the farm of BRS incumbent President KT Ram Rao’s son-in-law.

While Raj Pakala’s brother-in-law was convicted for possessing liquor in excess of the legal limit without an excise license, the guest was arrested for testing positive for cocaine.

While the BRS accused the Congress government led by Revanth Reddy of a conspiracy to trap Rao, who aggressively attacked the government for mistakes, Union Home Minister Bendi Sanjay Kumar alleged that the Congress was covering for the BRS leader and his family members, and demanded video from CCTV cameras. search

Meanwhile, when the police went to search the residence of the acting BRS president, party leaders, MPs and activists blocked their way, allegedly without a warrant, and two leaders were arrested.

According to police, on the night of October 26-27, Narsinghi police, a special operation team and excise officials raided a farmhouse in Janwada after receiving information about a rave party.

There were 21 men and 14 women at the party where alcohol was served. No permission was sought from the excise department to dispense liquor and seven unauthorized foreign liquor bottles were found along with 10 Indian liquor bottles.

Drug tests were conducted using the kits, and a man named Vijay Madduri tested positive for cocaine. According to the FIR, the women refused to cooperate for the drug test. However, no drugs were found in the entire premises searched by service dogs.

The FIR said, “He said that its owner Pakala Raj has one software company, in the name of ETG software company in Nanakramgud and Vijay is the CEO of that company. In addition, he also has his own company in the name of Fusion AIX software company, he acts as CEO (sic). From time to time they would get together on weekends, use drugs and play coin poker… Raj Pakala asked him to use the cocaine he had with him, Vijay agreed and used the cocaine.”

Meanwhile, union minister Bendi Sanjay said, “The Congress government in Telangana is only pretending to enforce the law but actually protecting the BRS leaders. The Janwada farm raid is just the tip of the iceberg. A proper search would reveal the truth – even a novice knows that drugs don’t just disappear. Congress should not dilute the case by making presumptive statements.”

In addition, he demanded: “Seize the passports of all high-ranking individuals involved, secure the location of their towers and release every piece of surveillance video. We call for immediate arrests without absolute leniency and escape routes.”

BRS leader Dasoju Sravan Kumar said, “They (Congress) are trying to hide the problems faced by the public and the problems of corruption by spreading false propaganda about drugs and rave parties… The fact that Revanth Reddy is behaving as if these are the priorities of the government is proof of his limitations and the petty politics he believes in.”

BRS leaders claimed it was a party to celebrate new ownership ahead of Diwali.
