The IDF has ordered the evacuation of 14 villages in southern Lebanon as it prepares new attacks

Israel’s armed forces ordered residents of 14 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate “immediately” for “their own safety”.

The IDF repeatedly issued evacuation orders during an air and ground offensive aimed at degrading Hezbollah’s infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

In the latest warning, IDF Arabic-language spokesman Avichai Adri said residents of 14 villages should flee north of the Awali River.

“Anyone who is near Hezbollah elements, facilities or weapons is putting (their) life in danger,” he said in a post for X.

“You are not allowed to go south. Any movement south can be dangerous for your life. We will notify you in time to return home as soon as the conditions are right,” he wrote.

Hezbollah issued a similar warning last night, urging residents to leave their homes in 25 towns in northern Israel that it said had become “legitimate military targets.”
