MCC to publish NEET PG 2024 counseling schedule soon; check the details here

The examination conducting body, Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will soon release the NEET PG 2024 counseling schedule on the official website. Candidates who have cleared the Post Graduate Entrance Examination and are awaiting counseling can check the schedule on the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) website as and when available.

Although registration for the first round of counseling is open on September 20, the detailed schedule is yet to be released. However, official confirmation is still awaited.

Once the time table is released, students will be able to log into the MCC portal to select their desired colleges and courses as part of the NEET PG 2024 counseling process.

This year, the NEET PG exam was conducted on August 11 at 416 centers in 170 cities, with 228,540 candidates participating in two shifts, one from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the other from 3:30 pm to 7 pm. Of those registered, 107,959 candidates passed the first shift, and 108,177 candidates passed the second shift. The results were announced on August 23.

ABOUT NEET PG 2024 COUNSELING STAGES

Going by the previous years, NEET PG 2024 counseling is expected to include four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Clearance Round and AIQ Round for Homeless Vacancies. After the registration, the authorities will announce the seat allotment results, giving the candidates a certain period to select their preferred institutions and courses.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR NEET PG 2024 COUNSELING

Candidates appearing for NEET PG counseling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MS, MD, DNB and Post Graduate programs will have to submit:

• Allocation letter from MCC

• Admit Card issued by NBE

• Result or rank from NBE

• MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd & 3rd Vocational Exam Mark Sheets

• MBBS/BDS degree or previous certificate
