A man was rushed to hospital after being rescued from under a double-decker bus on Deepdale Road

Sergeant Phil Baxendale, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This collision resulted in a person being seriously injured and I would urge anyone who saw what happened or has footage to contact us so we can establish exactly what happened. »

Currently, police are asking for witnesses and people who have footage from video recorders or mobile devices to contact them. You can contact them on 101, quoting Journal 1034 of November 19.

A fire service spokesman said: “At 6.01pm three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham along with the town’s search and rescue team attended a road accident in Deepdale Road, Preston.

“One injured person was pulled out from under the car by firefighters and taken to the hospital. The teams were present for two hours and ten minutes.”
