Head constable arrested for sexually abusing minors in West Godavari | Rajahmundry News

RAJHAMUNDRI: A POCSO case was booked against a head constable for sexually abusing a minor girl in West Godavari district. Narsapura police arrested the policemen on a complaint filed by a minor girl.
Manepalli Singh belongs to Narsapuram town and works as head constable in Poduru police station.
He is on medical leave and has been at home in Narsapuram for the past few days. Meanwhile, he looked closely at the underage girl who lived in his neighboring house. On Sunday evening, he entered the house of the minor girl when no one was there. He committed sexual violence against a minor girl studying in the 9th grade. The girl told her family members about the ordeal, and a complaint was filed. Narsapuram city inspector Yadagiri registered a POCSO case against the accused, who is in his 50s, and he was later arrested.
