An upstate man has pleaded guilty to shooting his wife in front of their children

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A Pickens man pleaded guilty Friday to shooting his estranged wife in front of their children.

Officials charged Joshua Scott Bradford, 31, with aggravated and aggravated domestic violence, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime of violence, unlawful conduct toward a child and first-degree assault and battery.

Evidence was presented in court that Bradford shot the victim at close range on January 26 in the presence of three minor children.

Bradford was sentenced to the maximum term of 20 years in prison by the SC Department of Corrections.

The case was investigated by the Department of Supervision of Compliance with the Laws of the SK.
