Christina Haak says ex Josh Hall was jealous of her flirting with Tarek

Christina Haak talks about filming with his ex, Josh Hallin her new HGTV reality series, Reversalcalling her husband “insecure.”

The former couple were set to star in the upcoming renewal series alongside first husband Haak, Tarek El Moussaand his current wife, Heather El Moussa. However, Hall left the series, which had already begun filming, after he and Haak filed for divorce in July.

Talking to Entertainment TonightHaak admitted that it “wasn’t fun” doing the show with Hall, saying, “When someone doesn’t believe in you and doesn’t like to see you win, it really puts a damper on things. I guess I didn’t shine as bright, trying not to make him feel emasculated. But who wants to live like that?”

The Christina in the village The star went on to say that she “didn’t enjoy filming with (Hall)” and that things have improved since their split. “Honestly, the divorce has become much easier and better in every way,” she shared.

She said that if Hall had stayed, “the show would have been hard to shoot,” citing “jealousy of Tarek, (he) doesn’t like our dynamic because Tarek and I have our own dynamic, and some might call it flirting. For me, they are something like brothers and sisters.”

Haak and Tarek were married from 2009 to 2018. The former couple has two children, Taylor and Brayden. Haak and Hall filed for divorce in July after nearly three years of marriage. Since then, the former partners have been embroiled in messy litigation over spousal alimony and other financial issues.

Tarek and Heather also chatted with Entertainment Tonight about Hall’s exit from Reversaland the latter said, “I don’t mean to be mean, but it was good to see him go.”

“She was going through it at first, but she recovered very quickly,” Tarek added, referring to Haak. “You can just say. Her energy is coming back. she is happy She is delighted with life. She’s doing something.”

Haak agreed, sharing, “It’s true. I told him it was bad for at least a year, maybe 18 months, so it wasn’t news to him.”
