According to a report in India Today, a comment made by Neha on her X account read, “Because Angela’s character is not the whole movie that Kanguwa is about! Angela cannot be in 2.5 hours of the film! Basic yes yes she was there to look pretty!!! It’s one brain and perspective (the director) performing in front of millions of viewers! We welcome criticism, not targeted propaganda!” She went on to delete the comment after it caught the attention of users on the platform. Meanwhile, the same producer K. THERE ARE. Gnanavel Raja spoke to the press on Friday and criticized the sound of the film. He said: “We spoke to everyone and asked them to turn the volume down by 2 points. The film takes place a thousand years ago, and most of the episodes have large-scale action. Therefore, I asked the exhibitors to lower the volume by 2 points, taking into account the feedback.”

Kanguwa crossed so far ₹50 crore in India during the extended opening weekend. It boasts an estimated budget of more than ₹350 crores.
