Sexual violence

This happened in July 2023. The criminal complaint says the victim was walking near 60th and Appleton when a stranger approached him in a car and pointed a gun at his head. Then, still at gunpoint, he said the stranger pushed him into the car and ordered him to have sex. The victim said that he got out and ran away when the stranger tried to pull the victim’s pants off.

The victim gave his shirt to the police for a sexual assault examination. Prosecutors said the shirt and test kit were sent to the Wisconsin State Crime Lab. Swabs from the victim’s chest were examined and a DNA profile developed. That DNA profile matched Glenn’s, according to the complaint, and prosecutors said the victim would have “no reason” to have Glenn’s DNA on her chest.

Glenn was indicted by prosecutors in April 2024 after DNA information came to light in April 2024. The complaint states that over the following months, he made numerous phone calls to Moody and Allen from prison.

Intimidation of witnesses

In a phone call from jail on Sept. 30, prosecutors said Glenn asked Allen, “Can you write a letter to convince these people to just go over there and call the DA or whatever they have to do and just tell the truth, because only that can get me out, like at once, with a click of a finger.”

Glenn also said during the call to “let them know it never happened” and said “if they leave me for the test (sic) I’ll take the battery charge.” That same day, the complaint says, Glenn called Moody and discussed delivering the letter.

Prosecutors said Moody later admitted to talking to Glenn on the phone about the sexual assault case. She said she believes her husband is innocent and said she went to the victim’s home four times to leave her name and phone number. She also admitted to leaving a letter that Allen had written.

Allen said Glenn called her from jail and asked her to write a letter to the victim, according to the complaint. She said she was “trying to appeal to his human nature in the letter.”

Also, in those jailhouse phone calls, prosecutors said Glenn and Moody used the word “cell phone” as code for a gun. In between the calls, Glenn told Moody that the police “didn’t find a ‘cell phone’ under the car seat and he ‘didn’t want to get another two years for a ‘cell phone’.”

According to the complaint, Moody said the gun was “currently lost or stolen.” She also said the gun Glenn mentioned during the call to the jail was a black gun and another black gun was used in another gun case.
