Lizzo accepted the rather silly mention of her the latest episode of South Park. and elevated him to a fun Halloween costume.

The Grammy-winning singer shared a series of new posts for her Instagram verified showed off her outfit on Saturday, which consisted of a faux medicine box emblazoned with her name along with warnings in fine print, including “FDA Approved,” “Dietary Suppressor,” and “For One Patient Only.”

Instead of a belt, Lizzo wore a measuring tape that cinched the boxy dress around her waist.

In her first pic, Lizzo posed in an old-school print ad that asked, “Need some self-love? Try Lizzo! Get rid of guilt, gain self-confidence.” Her caption for the post read: “Okay Halloween… you can start now.”

Subsequent posts included a fragment of the video showing Lizzo dancing in her costume in front of a cut-out South Park character of Cartman, while playing audio from an episode of Ozempic.

The May episode, titled South Park: The End of Obesity, poked fun at the growing popularity of weight loss drugs such as Ozempik and Mounjaro, and contained a fake advertisement for a fake product called “Lizzo”.

In a scene from South Park, Sharon and Sheila discuss the “amazing” new medication Sharon has been taking to control her weight, but since her insurance only covers weight-loss drugs for diabetics, Sharon reveals: There’s a brand new drug for obesity for those of us who can’t afford Ozempic and Mounjaro.”

The scene then cuts to a fake commercial advertising Lizzo, a drug that “makes you feel good about your weight, and it costs 90% less than Ozempic.”

“In specific studies, 70% of patients on Lizzo no longer cared about how much they weighed,” says the fake ad’s narrator.

“Lizzo helps you eat whatever you want and keep your physical activity to a minimum… Ask about the power not to give af**k, with Lizzo,” the commercial adds, along with a number of side effects.

In her Instagram and TikTok Live video at the time, Lizzo said: “It’s crazy, I just feel cursed, I really am such a bitch.”

“I really showed the world how to love yourself and not be lazy, to the point where these men in Colorado knew who the f**k I was and put it in their cartoon that’s been out for 25 years,” she added. referring to “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who met at the University of Colorado at Boulder and staged a show in the state.

Lizzo has long been a body positivity advocate and has spoken out about the body shaming she faces on social media.
