‘I support Dhanush’: Nayanthara slammed by Tamil Superstar’s fans after cruel open letter

After Nayanthara wrote an open letter to him, Dhanush found support from his fans.

Nayantara’s open letter to Dhanush has divided the internet. The Tamil actress, often referred to as a lady superstar, slammed Dhanush for not only ignoring her requests for NOK to use footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaana (produced by Dhanush) but suing her for Rs 10 crore for using a three-second BTS clip from the film, which is freely available on social networks. While several users of social networks and Dhanush’s female stars have expressed their support to Nayanthara, Dhanush’s fans criticized her for challenging her.

Several netizens took to X and criticized Nayanthara for making money from her wedding videos even though she wanted the footage of Dhanush to be free. Many expressed their support using the hashtag “I support Dhanush”.

Not only Nayanthara, Vineesh Shivan also called Dhanush. Vignesh took to his Instagram story to share a behind-the-scenes video clip from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Along with it, he wrote, “10 crore clip that Netflix wants removed from our documentary. Please watch it here for free. #SpreadLove sir.” He also shared the message sent by Dhanush’s team after the clip was released in the trailer of the documentary. He highlighted the mention of “Rs 10 crore” in the official message.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is yet to react to the claims.
