Packers visit Jaguars chasing 4th straight Sunday on FOX6

The Green Bay Packers head south to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, October 27th for a noon kickoff. only on FOX6. Stay tuned for a special edition of FOX6 News after the game.

Green Bay is 5-2 to start the season after winning three straight over Rams, Cardinals and Texans. They sit in third place in the competitive NFC North, the only division in the NFL where all four teams are over .500. Jacksonville also sits in third place in its division, albeit with a 2-5 record.

Sunday will be just the eighth meeting between the two teams. The Packers are 5-2 all-time against the Jaguars and 3-1 on the road in those games. Green Bay has won its last three games.

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson played seven seasons with the Packers; he was the backup quarterback on the team that won Super Bowl XXXI.

It will be a return to familiar surroundings for footballer Brandon McManus, who has come into his own Debut of the Packers last week after playing for the Jaguars last season.

Darnell Savage, who played five seasons with the Packers after they drafted him in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, now plays for Jacksonville. Former Packers Josiah Deguar and Cole Van Lanen — Wisconsin natives who also played for the Badgers — now also play for Jacksonville.

Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke was born in Milwaukee and raised in Rosendale.
