A whopping 13 years have passed since its original release, Binding of Isaac is about to get its own online multiplayer mode, and to absolutely no one’s surprise, the first gameplay footage we’ve seen is pure, pure chaos.

Although it is not the most popular roguelike today, there was a time when The Binding of Isaac was the most popular on the market, and it still has many loyal fans who have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours on the game. But unlike some of the other roguelikes of the time, like Risk of Rain, Isaac is a completely solo experience, but not for long.

A multiplayer mode for the game is under development and has been installed along with it release later this weekexecutive producer Tyrone Rodriguez shared several clips on Twitter with the caption, “We’re going to have a lot of fun playing #IsaacOnline together.”

If you’ve played The Binding of Isaac before, you can probably already guess how chaotic the game can be when there’s another player. With four players running around like in the clips Rodriguez shared, each room is full of enemies, obstacles, and of course, tears, making the game feel more like a bullet hell than anything else.

Isaac creator Edmund McMillen also talked about the multiplayer update Twitterreminding players that if they want to access the multiplayer update, they will need to purchase The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, as well as Afterbirth and Repentance, the game’s two DLC packs.
